"To many pro-choice advocates, this imagery is revolting propaganda. The pro-choice movement often treats with contempt the pro-lifers' practice of holding up to our faces their disturbing graphics. We revile their placards showing an enlarged scene of the aftermath of a D & C abortion; we are disgusted by their lapel pins with the little feet, crafted in gold, of a 10-week-old fetus; we mock the sensationalism of The Silent Scream."
"But feminism at its best is based on what is simply true. Simply, those photographs are in fact photographs of actual D & Cs; those footprints are in fact the footprints of a 10-week-old fetus; the pro-life slogan, "Abortion stops a beating heart," is incontrovertibly true." - Naomi Wolf
The images I have posted are of living human beings, killed. They are not 'a mass of tissue', they are not 'non-persons', they are not a 'product of conception', they are growing human beings, just like you and I once were at this particular stage of our life. This is not sensationalism. It is compelling evidence that appeals directly to a person's fundamental sense of right and wrong.
"Too often our rhetoric leads us to tell untruths. What Norma McCorvey wants, it seems, is for abortion-rights advocates to face, really face, what we are doing:" "Have you ever seen a second-trimester abortion?" she asks. "It's a baby. It's got a face and a body, and they put him in a freezer and a little container."
"Well, so it does; and so they do."

Normal human development at 8 weeks.
Functioning neurological structures necessary for pain sensation are in place to a degree as early as 8 weeks. The first detectable brain activity in response to noxious stimuli occurs in the thalamus between the 9th and 10th weeks. By 13 and a half weeks responses are sufficiently elaborate and avoidant to warrant the definite conclusion that the fetus responds aversively, not reflexively. They evidence an integrated physiological attempt to escape noxious stimuli. Results of a saline abortion.
At 8 weeks all organs and body systems are in place and will mature over the next 14 years. Visible under a microscope are his unique fingerprints, never to change except in size. The creases on the child's hands are also visible. The baby first moves between the 6th and 7th weeks. At 8 weeks, tickling the preborn's nose will cause him to flex his head backwards away from the stimulus. Tapping the amniotic sac results in arm movements. At the end of the 7th week the child's central nervous system has reached a highly developed state. At merely 40 days the skeleton begins to develop in cartilage. The movement of electrical impulses through the neural fibres and spinal column takes place between 6 and 7 weeks and at the end of the second month most parts of the adult skeleton can be identified, as well as most named nerves and muscles.
Suction abortion performed at 8 weeks and what remains after another typical suction abortion.
Mothers have reported feeling movement as early as 12 weeks after fertilization. By the 9th or 10th week the preborn child sucks her thumb, turns, somersaults, jumps, can squint to close out light, frowns, swallows, and moves her tongue. If you stroke a preborn's palm at 9 to 10 weeks she will make a fist. At 9 weeks she will bend her fingers round an object in the palm of her hand.Suction abortion performed at 10 weeks
